Our members can enjoy a calendar packed with competitions throughout the season, ranging from serious and prestigious events each carrying their own piece of silverware – such as the Club Championships – right through to much more relaxed offerings where the overriding aim is simply enjoying golf in good company.

Our members love their pennant golf and are active supporters of events run by their respective local organising groups, the Darling Downs and South Western District Golf Associations.

The traditional Honour Board events feature on the Club’s annual golfing calendar, though it’s not only scratch golfers who can write their name into City Golf Club history. Accompanying Grade competitions for players with higher handicaps allows golfers of all abilities the chance to shine.

In a typical week at City Golf Club, 18 hole competitions are enjoyed on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday by all Members with a 9 hole competition on Thursdays. Social play can be enjoyed on all days of the week outside of competition times , with a number of long-established groups of all sizes playing together regularly.
